David Tennant won't be like this again
It's official!
David Tennant is to leave Doctor Who next year, the BBC announced. Despite the show winning most popular drama - and David being named most popular actor - at last night's National Television Awards. The announcement breaks the hearts of all women, men, girls and boys up and down the land, for sure. David states:
"I've had the most brilliant, bewildering and life-changing time working on Doctor Who. I have loved every day of it."
"It would be very easy to cling on to the Tardis console forever and I fear that if I don't take a deep breath and make the decision to move on now, then I simply never will. You would be prising the Tardis key out of my cold dead hand. This show has been so special to me, I don't want to outstay my welcome."
Who will be the new doctor wearing brown suits, cute glasses and Converse trainers? Not David Tennant Junior for sure, kidding.
